TCSRD embraces a deeply interactive approach by involving rural communities at every stage—from planning and implementation to evaluation—while carefully crafting sustainable withdrawal strategies to ensure lasting impact. The programmes are thoughtfully designed based on community requirements, identified through need-assessment studies, meetings with government authorities and analysis of existing data. With a dual focus on immediate change and long-term transformation and aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), TCSRD sets clear, measurable targets that benefit not just individuals but also livestock, the environment, and biodiversity. True to its mission, the organisation zeroes in on the most marginalised households, using inclusive Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) tools to identify those most in need, ensuring no one is left behind.

Building Economic Capital

Society thrives when people are gainfully employed or empowered with knowledge and skills. With farm-based initiatives like ‘agricultural development’, ‘livestock management’ and non-farm-based initiatives like ‘cluster development’, we aim to not just overcome the challenges faced by the rural people, but also establish a dignified, healthy living for them.
